Camden Minds – UCL memory research involvement

The Camden Minds members enjoyed a recent research session with University College London and said they really felt valuable after the research.

The research was looking at a treatment that was being developed around memory problems and the link with depression and not having enjoyable activities in the day to day life.  The treatment would be done with a therapist to look at what the person enjoys doing, where these activities are held and they help to make a plan for the future
together.  Questions asked included:

–          The importance of keeping active?

–          How do you keep active?

–          What might get in the way of staying active?

–          How relevant and easy to follow is the manual?

–          What activities do you enjoy?
